These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Hollywood Stars (the “Service”), including our mobile application and website (hollywood-stars.com). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Hollywood Stars is an independent application that provides map-based and informational features about stars and locations. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce or the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

3. Accounts and authentication

You may create an account or sign in via Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and access to the Service.

4. Location and navigation disclaimers

If you enable location services, the Service may show nearby stars and provide routing or wayfinding features. Location data and maps can be inaccurate. Do not rely on the Service for safety-critical decisions. Always follow local laws and be aware of your surroundings.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscription handling and entitlement verification may be provided by RevenueCat. Payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play (as applicable). Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown at purchase.

• Subscriptions typically renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies, unless required otherwise by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break the law or infringe others’ rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or bypass security measures
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data at scale without permission
• Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems

7. Content and intellectual property

The Service and its content are owned by us or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless we give you written permission.

8. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party services (such as Supabase, RevenueCat, and mapping providers). Their terms and policies may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service.
